Meet the artist

Welcome, I'm Laurie, 

As a child  growing up in southern California, I found refuge on my horse riding through the canyons and in time spent at the ocean. I have always found solace in quiet wild spaces and I feel a deep connection to plants and animals.

I have lived in or around Yosemite National Park for the past 30 years and worked with the Yosemite wilderness backcountry team, dedicating my time to visitor education and protection of wild lands. I have been fortunate to have hiked hundreds of miles throughout the Sierra Nevada, sleeping many nights outside under the starlight.

Later in life, I began to explore the healing arts. I am now a Life Coach, certified Reiki Master and a student of Qigong and other traditional healing practices.
